A demo of Jet Moto 2 was released on Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine Demo Disc 03 and Interactive CD Sampler Disc Volume 5. Its executable is dated September 4, 1997, 27 days before the initial US release.

The only track featured in this demo, "Meltdown", has a completely different loading screen. The flavor text is lifted mostly from the Jet Moto course "Suicide Swamp", the track layout is quite inaccurate, and the header uses the level's internal name, "Volcano".
