Tanbel Southeast Tower
On the third floor of the tower, the lower three rooms on the right side of the map go unused.
The crumbling wall in the music notes puzzle room marks an entrance, but the only way in is by walking through walls using the debug mode or cheat code.
Each room contains a single battle and none of the puzzle elements work.
The third unused room has an exit to the outside which, as expected, is a few steps to the right of the music notes puzzle room entrance. You cannot return to the unused room from outside the tower.
If you were instead to exit the unused rooms from the path you originally entered, a door tile is copied in place of the crumbling wall when you leave.
The bottom unused room was merged with the music notes puzzle room in the retail version. Monsters were deleted from the other two unused rooms, and for some reason one of them was filled with non-functioning treasure chests.
Other map changes:
- A decoration added to the wall of the treasure chest chamber in the retail version, and the treasure chest palette changed.
