Proto:Master of Darkness
This page details one or more prototype versions of Master of Darkness.
Vampire is a prototype build of Master of Darkness that was dumped by the Image/Helsinki/Finland Group on September 5, 1999. Aside from the name, though, the only real differences are some spelling and punctuation that were fixed for the released game.

At this stage of development, the game was titled Vampire, which more closely aligns itself with the Game Gear version's Japanese name In the Wake of Vampire. The ornate V in a box also comes from the Japanese Game Gear version's title screen.
