This is a sub-page of Proto:Mega Man X3 (SNES).

A very late prototype of Mega Man X3 found by C. Davis and released by the Rockman Corner on July 14th, 2018.

The September 25th build has a few small differences, but by this point, all of the bugs from the August builds have been ironed out and all of the game's graphics have been finalized. A small number of debug features from the August 9th build remain in the game.

This is the first build of the game with a copyright screen. Aside from "All Rights Reserved" lacking a period, it matches the one in the final game.

  • In this prototype, X always walks in the center of the screen during the cast roll (with Zero farther behind, if not dead). In the final game, he walks alongside Zero (provided Zero didn't die, of course).
    • Though very close to final, the graphics of the cast roll won't display on certain emulators (such as Snes9x 's PSP port) for some reason, resulting in the sequence being a black screen with text until it shows the bosses' specs.
