As you'd expect, Minecraft changed drastically over the years before its official release on November 18, 2011.
NOTE: Windows 10 version 1809 has a bug that causes the video driver to crash while playing some of the earlier prototypes.
NOTE: Indev requires the use of a proxy in order to get past java.lang.NullPointerException errors.
Alpha v1.1.1 also requires this to prevent the gray screen (flashing red on Mac OS X) bug.
