May Script
This is the village of Mile. And this is our newly built sand worm ranch. What do you think? Isn't it cute? We're going to have a lot of tourists!

Final Script
This is the village of Mile. And this is our newly built sand worm ranch. What do you think? Isn't it great? This will attract a lot of tourists!
Translation Notes
The ranch went from "cute" to "great". It was "cute" in the Japanese text too, just in case you cared.

Total destruction of Zema!!! Really? Someone go and make sure. I, uh, I'm too busy, so I can't go.
August Script
I've heared that Zema has been destroyed! Someone must go and make sure. I, uh, I'm too busy, so I can't go.
Final Script
I heard that Zema has been destroyed! Someone must go and make sure. I, uh, I'm too busy, so I can't go.
Translation Notes
Later in the game, this guard says, "Zema has been restored!!! Is this true? Really?" Kinda ruins the callback when the original dialogue gets rewritten.
This line is one of the very few where the October prototype is different from the final game. It's almost the same as the final draft, but he says "I heared" instead of "I heard."

The guy originally called Alys oba-san -- usually used to refer to an aunt or a middle-aged woman -- which is why Alys reacts the way she does here.

May Script
If we leave it the way it is, sooner or later it's going to become a real problem. At that point, it'll be too late. It may have been a little cruel to the sand worms, but it was the right thing to do. Mr. Hunter, thank you for your help.

Final Script
If we left it the way it was, it would've become a real problem. And at that point, it would have been too late. It may have been a little cruel to the sand worms, but it was the right thing to do. Mr. Hunter, thank you for your help.

Translation Notes
Dialogue here was changed to past tense, since she only talks about this after the sand worm dies.
