Translation Notes
There are two mistakes with the translation of the second line (アウルデゾリアを品種改良して、放し飼いできるようにしたのさ):
The kanji "品種改良" literally translates to "breed improvement" but is actually referring to the process of selective breeding.
放 means "set free" and 飼 means "raise", but the full term, "放し飼い", means "free-range" or "roaming."
So, what the Dezolisians actually did what selectively bred the Dezo Owl species until they looked like fat penguins (...somehow) and then let them roam around Zosa freely.
The editor(s) fixed referring to the Dezo Owl as a "breed" and correctly states they were bred in captivity, but can't do much else with the translation they were given.
