A near-final prototype, with only very few differences from the release version. Also known by its internal build number of r13858.

- The first copyright year in the Pokémon line is 2002, just like it was in the July 17, 2007 build - and the copyright screen is visually the same as that build.
- The opening sounds are the same as release Platinum.

- The top screen borders are still gradients, like in the July 17, 2007 build - but the logo has been finalized.
- The copyright text is in a much larger font with no gradient, and says "©2008 GAME FREAK inc." instead of "Developed by GAME FREAK."
- Giratina is now in Origin Forme on the title screen, and its cry plays when you press start. However, there is no visual flash unlike in the release version.
Gameplay Differences
- Professor Rowan's theme does not play on Route 201, unlike in the release version.
