A late PAL prototype of Road Rash 64, dated October 12, 1999, was released on February 14, 2021 by Forest of Illusion.
General Differences
- The minor performance tweaks and improvements for split-screen mode and 4MB mode were not yet implemented.
- The maximum number of tire marks to render is 20 instead of the retail’s 16.
- The maximum effective display list size was originally 7000. This would be increased by 100 commands in the retail version.
- The transformation matrix table's size was originally 410. This would be increased by 10 matrices in the retail version.
