Proto:Robotron 64
This page details one or more prototype versions of Robotron 64.
This prototype is documented on Hidden Palace.
Presumably between October and November 1997, a prototype of Robotron 64 was accessed from an anonymous FTP server run by Player 1 Studios, the same server where the Tommy Thunder prototype was found. The prototype was password-protected, and it wasn't until early February 2021 when the password was cracked by Bosconian. The ROM would later be distributed to NESWorld on February 9 of the same year.
The ROM's build date is October 11, 1997, 12 days before the final American build. Given that this build is very close to the final version, there's little to no visual differences, with only one exception.
Difference
Between the information and the Crave logo screens, there is a spinning Nintendo 64 logo on a white background, with a recreation of its wordmark at the bottom of the screen.
