Pursuit Force lets you fulfill your daredevil dreams of jumping from car to car while dispensing justice to gang members, so long as you don't mind the punishing difficulty and a boss called HARD BALLS.

A sequel was released in 2007.

Regional Differences

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Add more regional differences, if any.
  • Obtain screenshots showing any graphic changes.

Gameplay Changes

  • The European version was known for its punishing difficulty, so the US version reworked the difficulty, though it can still be difficult in some respects.
  • A checkpoint system was added for missions that have more than one part.
  • During the mission "Velocity", where the player drives a bus that has a bomb on it, a marker was added in the US version whenever the player gets close to the nearby truck to make it easier to track the passengers jumping off of the bus. (This also makes it easier to fulfill your dreams of reenacting Speed.)

Audio Changes

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Obtain audio files for voice actor comparisons. If possible, for the Chief's comparisons, use the "I want Hard Balls" line. That would be great.
  • Also, check if there are more voiceovers that were added to the US version besides the two listed below.
  • The voice actor for the Chief was changed, going from a higher, almost nasal type voice to a more lower, gruff commanding voice. The US voice was performed by voice actor Fred Tatasciore, who returned for the sequel in all versions.
  • Similarly, the voice actor for Sarah, the helicopter pilot who accompanies you on some missions, was changed, though not as noticeable as the Chief's voice actor change. The US voice was performed by Renee Raudman of Metal Gear Solid fame, though she did not return for the sequel, which reverts Sarah's voice back to the original voice actor.
