Red Faction II is the sequel to Red Faction, known for cutting multiplayer support in favor of a simple offline botmatch.

Unused Text

The file Red Faction II\pc_media\All_Levels\All_Levels.packfile contains levels for the game, which also includes associated text for a given level. As with the previous game, this text contains German and French placeholders.

Excerpt from the first mission's Objectives, which contain German/French text that you won't see:

Concerning the dialogue, Red Faction II simply uses a minimal placeholder instead of the first game's method of copying the same text two more times. As the game lacks an option to display subtitles, the text will never be displayed.
