Scattered through Banks 8 and 9 are the original icons for Oni Mode and for the non-existing Hard Mode, also from the original Rock'n Tread. Their palettes are no longer loaded, however.

Offset 0x1A80 contains an early graphic, known to have been unused since the original Rock'n Tread.

Bank 13

The "failed" and "cleared" Game Over tiles from Rock'n Tread 2 are still here.
