Rockman & Crystal is basically what you'd expect in a Mega Man X game on Game Boy Advance.

Copy Protection

All of Vast Fame's video games on GBA have strong copy protection, which can be seen in the mGBA source code. Currently, only mGBA can emulate the copy protection routine.

Unused Vast Fame Copyright

Hmmm...
To do:
Make a mockup of what it should look like.

Vastfamerocks.png

Present in the ROM is text reading "廣譽科技" (Vast Fame's Chinese name) and "2003".

Version Differences

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Rip the music in both versions.
  • Any other changes?

Besides the (obvious) title screen changes, the sound font used in both versions is different.

Crash Handler?

Hmmm...
To do:
Debug-related texts like this are loaded into RAM.

There is a chance that the game will display a "BATTERY OK !!" message when you boot up the game in an emulator.
