So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

As Albatross, rescue your fellow agent Leila from the forces of Geldra in Rolling Thunder!

In the Tengen release the title logo moved down slightly to accommodate for the "Tengen Presents" text. In addition, the Namco logo was removed from the new game menu.

Sound

In Japan, Rolling Thunder uses the Namco 163 mapper (which adds extra sound channels, allowing for fuller sounding music and sound effects), while in the US release Tengen opted to have the game converted to run on its usual Tengen mapper. As such, the sound in the Tengen release had to be redone to compensate for the loss of sound channels.

The names for the songs are taken from the Game Sound Museum - Namcot-hen Vol 10 - Rolling Thunder mini-CD album.

Hmmm...
