Elementary, my dear Cactus.
This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: How to trigger the anti-piracy screen?

Rusty (ラスティ) is a Castlevania clone for the PC-9800 series, starring a dominatrix named Rustea Sprincul.

Unused Text

A few plot-relevant bosses late in the game have some dialogue before you fight them, but the first boss has some unused speech as well. It appears starting at 0x4503 in ENEMY1.COM:

Original Translation
私の名は「サンダークラップ」
我ら獣魔族に逆らう輩を
征伐するのが私の役目・・・
覚悟なさい!!
My name is Thunderclap.
It is my duty to punish any who dare
stand against us monsters....
Prepare yourself!!
(Translation: kuoushi)

Anti-Piracy Screen

Rusty PC-98 anti-piracy.png

There's an anti-piracy message featuring Mayor Santos found in SONTYO.MAG. It's currently unknown how to trigger it in-game. The grey streaks trailing the text are used in other images to create motion, so presumably the text would move when the screen is encountered in-game.

Original Translation
謎の村長!!

コピーするとは
     けしからん!!
Mysterious Mayor!!

Don't copy
that floppy!!
(Translation: kuoushi)

Hidden Message

There's a small message in JO.EXE, at 0x7aa5.

Original Translation
奈緒猫さんだよん
It's me! Naoneko!
(Translation: kuoushi)

Additionally, in OP.COM at 0x2d9 there's another message:

Original Translation
おなかすいちゃったなぁ:-)
I'm hungry :-)
(Translation: kuoushi)
