MusicIcon.png This game has unused music.

A collection of all the events from DecAthlete, Winter Heat and Virtua Athlete running on a version of the latter's engine, also featuring enhanced graphics for the former two. This was also the very last Sega Ages 2500 to be released by 3D-Ages before Sega would fully handle the lineup themselves.

Unused Music

Present in the disc's SOUND/DC_BGM/ folder is a file titled 99.IVB, which is in fact the Big Forest/Beginner circuit theme from the arcade version of Virtua Racing. It was likely recycled from Sega Ages 2500 Vol. 8: Virtua Racing ~FlatOut~, which Vingt-et-un previously developed, though this one removes the additional 9 seconds of silence that the FlatOut version strangely featured. It was probably used as either a placeholder or test music.

Hmmm...
To do:
Identify all the unused tracks.

Also present in each of the folders in SOUND are tracks from the games represented in this collection that wound up unused, such as the Virtua Athlete introduction music, or the title screen jingle from DecAthlete.
