So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Welcome to the Next Level...online.

The first Nintendo Switch Online entry for a system outside the Big N's own, powered by the Sega Genesis Mini's M2Engage emulator. In a nice touch, the app's startup sound is the "SE-GA!" chant.

Plus, unlike Nintendo's own offerings on the service, in this one you actually can play classic entries in the Castlevania, Contra, Mega Man and Street Fighter series!

Regional Differences

To do:
Add Japanese/Korean Mega Drive title screen, as well as all app icons.

Title Screen

US BR/EU/AU Russia
Sega Genesis - Nintendo Switch Online-title.png Sega Mega Drive - Nintendo Switch Online-title.png Sega Mega Drive - Nintendo Switch Online-title Russia.png

The title screen differs between regions due to the console itself differing between regions. If the Switch's language is set to Russian, a unique title screen appears, reading simply "16-bit Classics from SEGA" in Russian rather than sporting a system logo. This was due to the Mega Drive name being trademarked by other entities in Russia at that time.

Game Lineup

Puyo Puyo is replaced with its Sonic-themed reskin Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine in most countries, as per usual with these collections.

Exclusive to Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan

Exclusive to North America, Brazil, Europe, Australia and South Korea

Revisional Differences

More games would be added via software updates.
