Slap Shot is an early ice hockey sports game, seemingly unrelated to the 1994 Taito arcade game or the 1988 Data East mechanical arcade game.

Unused Art

During the game ending, artwork is loaded that seems like it was intended for a credits screen, however the tilemap is blank when it fades in and it then fades out again and is replaced by a text screen showing "PRESENTED BY SEGA ©1990". This contains a 16×16 font and five large pictures, presumably of the developers.
