You will start out viewing a trophy. Press L3 + R3 here to view the main test menu which would allow you to view models, however the menu code points to the wrong disc location. The final version of the game packs all main data inside an archive. Nothing works in the Hi-Sensyu Model or Sonota Model options.

YAMA Menu

  • Selecting the Consuma Mode option will send you to an unknown game mode titled, Home Cooking School which doesn't work correctly as it is no longer on the disc.

  • Selecting Do you want money? will yield the text: お金でこころまではかえないよ (You can't change your heart with money.).
  • Selecting Don't you want money? will yield the text: けいざいさいへん (reorganization of economics) or: たなからぼたもち (You've got good luck.).
  • Selecting Pass Words list displays the font of the text.

There's also the text ごりようはけいかくてきに (Use systematically.) which is likely a random text bubble that appears in the money options.

Arcade Test Menu

This contains some arcade test options, as such, most options won't work.

Unknown Menu

It isn't clear what this is. It might be a texture test option.

Unused Test Option

Present in function 0x00118f48 is another test option. All this appears to do is print the text AOK SAMPLE on-screen with nothing else to do.

Debug Logging

Within the game is a printf function that doesn't print anything anymore. This would have logged various background information to a debug unit. This logs information such as files loaded and memory information. It would also report errors if any occurred. To re-enable this mode, apply the below code:

USA code:

Re-enable printf Messages
20108ED0 08098A1A

If you are playing the game on a regular PlayStation 2, you will need to use a TOOL, RDB, or a debug version of OPL to view the logs. If you are playing on an emulator, you can see this information by enabling the option "Show Console".
