So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Developer Message

The instrument text in one of the game's music files (mod.spaceing-piss) contains a happy little message from the musician, Barry Leitch:

this is the piss
butchered version
if the ingame music
i guess they will use
this one... i guess
this will be my last
amiga project for
gremlin as they have
decided to get their
own in house muso...
....................
by the way this tune
is (c) barry leitch
not gremlin or id...
its called artistic
copyright, this code
version is (c) id.
the actual melody etc
is (c) me !
so if this gets
converted to the snes
or sega by someone
else then i will be
owed money....
i kid ye not...
i didn't beleive it
when i first heard it
but its true ! : and
i will sue....
feel free to rip this
baz leitch 4/3/92

UnExoticA has more:

With regards to the charmingly named mod.spaceing-piss, the composer writes, "This was supposed to be to Space Crusade what the Hero Quest Ingame music was.. Small on memory, yet went on for hours... I'm listening to it now for the first time in 10 years, and I cant say that I would do it like that these days... I think we took for granted the control we had over the chip then, and I think that I should have spent more time focusing on expression rather than melody which I seemed slave to in so many of these old tunes.."
