This is a sub-page of Spore.

Bits and pieces still floating around in the game's files.

Object Models

Early versions of what would become the final game's rotation rings and orbs. At least one of these was visible in pre-release footage of the game. NOTE: The materials for these models could not be extracted, so they are shown here with Blender default materials.

There are multiple styles for turrets on city borders, but this isn't referenced anywhere.

In the Tribal Stage, you receive a knife-wielding totem after destroying a tribe or a horn-playing totem after allying it instead. However, this totem, whose action of holding a platter isn't associated with a game mechanic aside from gifting, isn't referenced anywhere.

A moose-like creature.

The face of Will Wright, the famous game director behind Spore and other Maxis games. His face is often included as a developer in-joke, and this model appears to be a leftover from a Creature Creator demo easter egg.

Editor Backgrounds

This model was used in early versions of the game (up to 2006 or 2007) as the background for the Cell Editor. It is still used in the Developer/"Hidden" Cell Editor, celltemplate.prop.xml.

A early background for the Civilization Outfitter. The filename contains the word "beach" for one reason or another.

A background of the Cake Editor. This isn't properly referenced in its property list.
