Although BAKTER gives a "Password Error" message and doesn't appear to do anything, it actually resets DAVIDL if it was entered.

DAVIDL and Extra Settings

When using the password DAVIDL (which is most likely a reference to Executive Producer David A. Luehmann), the options screen is expanded:

The final setting, "LEVEL: NORMAL", can't be changed ($FFE004:0000). By using the following game enhancer codes to NOP out the command that prevents the value from increasing, you can now select CHEAT (infinite retries) and INVINCIBLE, both of which function as you'd expect.
