Star Wars, now in MAGICAL MAGENTA and CRAZY CYAN !

Error Message

A single error message is in starwars.exe at 0x9412 in the US version and 0x2440 in the UK version:

Andy - I got a Divide Overflow - what could it be.

maybe you're not Z clipping something...!

Developer Message

During the title roll, there are two ways the two programmers are listed. A snide comment in starwars.exe makes note of this at 0xCA0B in the US version and 0x40B6 in the UK version.

Do you want to make something of it?

Regional Differences

Internally, starwars.exe is much more tightly organized in the UK version, resulting in the executable being 98 KB as opposed to 166 KB like the US version. However, the UK version has to be loaded with the loadfix command in newer versions of DOS, due to the packing method used on the portions of code.

Not only is the publisher changed, but a couple of additional controls are listed on the title screen.
