Street Fighter Zero 2 '97
Street Fighter Zero 2 '97 |
---|
Also known as: Street Fighter Zero 2 This game has unused areas. |
Despite its name, Street Fighter Zero 2 '97 is an NES port of the first Street Fighter Alpha.
Unused Stage
In FCEUX, if you change the value in 0410 to 00 before the fight starts, you'll be fighting on Chun-Li's stage from Street Fighter Alpha. It's a bit of a mystery as to why this isn't included, especially since Chun-Li herself and her theme is in this game.
Version Differences
An alternate version, simply called Street Fighter Zero 2, is much smaller in size (384 KB instead of 768 KB) thanks to omitting most of Guy's, Sagat's, Sodom's, Adon's, and Akuma's graphics, leaving only their icons behind which are now unused. This said, their programming still remains and can be accessed using address 00B6/00B7 from 04 to 09.
