Strider for the PlayStation is a port of the original coin-op game onto Sony's 32-bit system, included with every copy of the PlayStation port of Strider 2 as a separate disc (apart from a very late standalone re-release in the Capcom Game Books series in 2006 that cemented its status as the last PlayStation release). The Japanese edition of the port is marketed as a compilation called Strider Hiryuu 1 & 2, while the international versions notoriously had labels of both discs swapped the other way around.
