Hidden Mode
There are 2 hidden modes in game.
Mirror Mode
Use mouse-trap.exe file, change some pictures, then click Submit. When the correct pictures are entered and enabled, a manhole under the streetlight on the left side of the street, that takes the player into a small underground room containing a bunkbed and a mirror showing an inverted reflection.Interacting with the mirror flips the inversion, cracking the screen and activating "Mirror Mode".Most of the game's text is changed into Mickey's thoughts, many of which suggest the game to be set in some form of time loop.
Suffering Mode
When you enter the Debug Mode, press Q to get the Suffering Mode. Although the "Press Q to enable suffering mode" text is displayed on-screen, part of it is off-screen (i.e. only a small part of it can be seen) after the companion font file is installed.

Russian Version (Unofficial)
In February 2024, an unofficial "Suicide Mouse Relapse (Russian Version)" was released. This version is unofficial and is a modified version of v1.5.3.
- Differences:
- The Russian version's filesize is bigger than the original version.
- Mickey is not on the title screen (except the logo), and the "No signal" FX is always playing.
- The "Press Q to enable suffering mode" text can now be fully displayed on-screen.
- Already known bugs:
- Some strings weren't changed to Russian and are still English(For example the title of the game).
- Mirror mode doesn't work like original version; it is just a black screen. This version's developer doesn't know how to fix this.
Differences Between Official Versions
This page or section needs more images. There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this. |
This game uses Clickteam Fusion 2.5 game engine. The Optimized Edition has a smaller filesize and faster loading speed.
