Hmmm...
To do:
Get screenshots where necessary, and document any regional changes made to trophy descriptions (Several of the trophies have incorrect descriptions in the English version. Do these errors exist in the other versions?) source:https://www.ssbwiki.com/List_of_trophies_(disambiguation)

There's a lot of trophy differences between the European and North American versions. Some trophies refer to their European game name equivalents. Several of the trophies in the European version had their text changed to correct errors made in the North American version.

  • The Stickers and CDs trophies have been moved to The Subspace Emissary in the European version, even though you can still obtain stickers and CDs in a normal battle. This change causes both of the trophies to appear under the Subspace Emissary category in the European version rather than the Super Smash Bros. category in the US version when viewing trophies in the Trophy Gallery.

Any names after the "/" are European names.

Lines in which its only differences is having British terms will be mainly omitted. Such examples include:

  • Not adding a serial comma before "and" or "or".
  • Not adding a dot after an abbreviation (For example, writing "Mr." as "Mr").
  • Adding a comma or a period outside of quotation marks rather than inside quotation marks.
  • Using hyphens to connect multiple words into one word.
  • Having different names for characters and/or places.

Super Smash Bros.

Blast Box

The description is slightly more detailed.

North America Europe
An explosive-filled box that will detonate when the box is broken. The box can be smashed with normal attacks and will also catch fire and blow up if it's exposed to any flame. Unlike ordinary crates, blast boxes do not change their appearance from stage to stage. There's one fundamental rule when dealing with these items: be out of range when they blow. Fan

The description is slightly changed at the end.

North America Europe
An item made by taking thick paper, folding it accordion-style, taping one end, and fanning out the other. It's mainly used as a comedic prop by comedians from the Kansai region of Japan. Why it's in Smash Bros. is a mystery. Grab this unique item and whack foes to turn them in the opposite direction. Throw a fan at a foe, and that character will fly straight up. The Subspace Emissary

Primid

The description is slightly more detailed.

The common soldier of the Subspace Army. It seems pretty harmless, but alas, it's stuffed with Shadow Bugs that leak from its forms. This Primid has no weapons--it will challenge you man-to-man. There are six different Primid types, but all of them are based on this basic form. There are also several different face types. The common soldier of the Subspace Army. She exhibits top-of-the-line cornering and acceleration but has close to the lowest top speed of all the characters in Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast. She attacks with spin moves. A precocious Kremling girl who has an air of aloofness about her. She has beautiful locks, and looks charming in her striped dress. Clever but vicious as well, she has a keen rivalry with Dixie Kong and is always plotting an idea to twist her tail. She has a fear of frogs, which is why she tends to shrink away whenever Winky's around...

Kip

North America Europe
The little brat of the Kremlings and a naughty trickster. Kip is quick and corners as well as anyone, but his top speed is quite low. He sports a tough look with his black T-shirt and spiked wristbands--just the look he needs to prove he's one bad little dude. His attack is a double-legged kick. The little brat of the Kremlings and a naughty trickster. Kip has a quick temper and he tends to rush into situations without thinking about the consequences. He has a fierce rivalry with Diddy Kong and will compete with him over pretty much anything. He simply adores donuts. Along with Kass he is one of the youngest Kremlings, which is why he is cherished by them so much.

Kalypso

North America Europe
A cool beauty with chic makeup and groovy hair. Kalypso combines enough acceleration to break free from the pack with a respectable top speed. Her cornering is a bit weak, but good players should be able to overcome this. Her claw attack will get you...if her high-pitched laugh doesn't. A cool beauty with chic make-up and groovy hair. A strong leader figure, she has the full trust of all the Kremling Krew. She boasts excellent reflexes, and is very accomplished in sports and dancing. The clubhouse she owns is regarded as something of an oasis for Kremlings.

Kludge

North America Europe
A member of the Kremling Krew making his first appearance in Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast. His less-than-average acceleration and weak cornering are offset by an impressive top speed. Kludge's relation to the physically fit blue Krunchas and Krumples of the Kremling forces is still unknown. A massive, monstrous Kremling who, once riled up, is rumored to even give King K. Rool trouble. His child-like manner has made him firm friends with Kip and Kass. Unfortunately, Kludge is pretty simpleminded--thinking about too much at once tends to overheat his brain. His hobby is devouring anything and everything at the dinner table.

Pokémon

The description is slightly changed.

The description is slightly changed.

North America Europe
An amphibious Metal Gear developed by the U.S. Marines. Revisions to the prototype enabled mass production and made it a viable battle weapon with massive firepower and remote operation. Metal Gear REX

On the Metal Gear REX trophy, the US version states that Snake destroyed it. This is incorrect; he merely shut it down. The European version changes the tense of part of the sentence in an attempt to make this more clear, but forgot to change the part where it says Snake destroyed the REX.

North America Europe

Other Trophy Differences

Super Mario Bros.

  • In the Peach trophies, the word "princess" was capitalised as "Princess".
  • The Toadette trophy adds "Dash" in the middle of "Golden Mushroom".
  • The Poltergust 3000 trophy refers to "E. Gadd's Corporation" as "Gadd Science Inc.", the name used in Super Mario Sunshine.
  • The Luigi's Mansion trophy changes "rec room" to "billiards room", and "music room" to "conservatory".

EarthBound

  • Lucas's trophy spells the name of his hometown as "Tazumili" in the North American version. The European version uses the more common "Tazmily" spelling, a name used in EarthBound 64's production.
(Source: EarthBound 64 website)

Fire Emblem

  • On Lyn's trophy, the US version says that she is fifteen years old. This is true for the Japanese series, but in the English localisation, her age was increased to eighteen. This was corrected in the European version.
  • Ashnard`s trophy says that he wields the sword "Gurugant". This is a typo. The European version changed it to the correct spelling of "Gurgurant".
  • On the Black Knight trophy, the US version's description says that he is the "wielder of the blessed sword Ettard", when he only wielded this blade in the Japanese version of his origin-game; in America, Ettard was called Alondite. This was fixed in the European version.
  • Sothe's trophy states that he's a "swordsman" in the North American version, which is untrue as Sothe wields knives and daggers. The European version corrected this by stating that Sothe is a "knifeman".

Others

  • The "Warrior Mech Gauss" trophy is referred to as the "Warrior Unit Gust" trophy in the European version.
