So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss is, unsurprisingly, a solid follow up to Tetris 2 + Bombliss. Not so obvious are its obscurities, including a promotional gold cartridge, updated re-release, Super Famicom Box version, and computer versions (Windows 3.1, Mac, PC-98). It was also advertised (then canceled) for the Sufami Turbo.

Whew.

Tetris Battle Gaiden Leftovers

Unique to the limited edition, at 1182C, is leftover text from the Tetris Battle Gaiden options menu.

Anti-Piracy

The limited edition adds an anti-piracy check upon starting up the game. If the game thinks it's running on pirate hardware (based on the amount of available SRAM) or if it's being played on a PAL console, then the BPS logo will loop infinitely instead of proceeding to the actual game.

Version Differences

There are three total versions of the game: the original release, the revision 1 ROM, and the limited edition.

The revision 1 ROM contains a single small, but important change: it fixes the spelling of the word "stereo" on the options menu.

Thankfully, the limited edition is more interesting: it changed the title screen colors, uses the newer BPS logo, and has different Bombliss levels. The BPS logos themselves also use different jingles.

The Limited Edition also features slightly different renditions of all of the game's music.
