Loading Screens

I suppose this would fall under Xkeeper's proposed technical trivia category, but apparently the loading screens in this game aren't actually needed and can be disabled with a code. I haven't had any luck finding this code online, but I asked Zoinkity about it, so hopefully it can be added to the article at some point. It's pretty funny that two of the biggest complaints about the game, hideous graphics and long load times on a cartridge game, are apparently only the result of developer incompetence and could've been corrected easily. --Dragonsbrethren 17:51, 17 July 2013 (EDT)

Some Regional Differences

Apart from the language select in the EU version, it appears that the US and EU versions both have different models and placements for minor NPCs. If you load the first level of the game, the secretary at the desk is noticeably different (as are others throughout the level.) Still checking though later levels and the other language options on the EU version, but would this be considered noteworthy? --Xenohydra (talk) 14:06, 30 July 2016 (EDT)

Language select won't count, but after reading a load of articles I'm under the impression that changed models and positions would be accepted as regional differences. (Never noticed that while I have played through EU & US versions, interesting.) --Psxdriverplayer (talk) 19:23, 30 July 2016 (EDT)
Darn, after some further investigation, it turns out the character models randomly generate each time the level is accessed, so it appeared to be a different model. I just got both secretary models to load on both versions of the game. The model placement appears to be the same too. The hunt continues... --Xenohydra (talk) 19:48, 30 July 2016 (EDT)
Oh look, it does randomly select the model and character positions. Objects are the ones we need to look for, right? --Psxdriverplayer (talk) 20:20, 30 July 2016 (EDT)

It seems with Underground Uprising they wanted both Opening and End #1 to be in the same map, but they changed the Opening to Thames Chase's map for some reason. Feel free to complete this list. Seems to be the same in both Europe and USA. PSXDRIVERPLAYER OUT. --Psxdriverplayer (talk) 12:01, 18 October 2017 (EDT)

Thanks for taking the time to do that, however I can't determine what is unused or not since I never did play this game that much. We'd have to leave that to someone else. --Punk7890 (talk) 18:26, 18 October 2017 (EDT)
I've played both the US and EU versions on all difficulties, I don't recall ever seeing the explosive Game Over, Christmas taking the ladder down to a room was not in a cutscene (A Sinking Feeling Unused Cutscene), Underground Uprising Beta Intro is easy to spot, backgrounds and objects aren't loaded (animations differ) and why would there be a scene where two characters stand still for 5 seconds or so (Night Watch Greatness). I recognized all the others though. That last one is Masquerade End Cutscene #2, found it in my other notes for this game. (Some of these scenes happen in multiplayer maps by the way. Clever, very clever.) Voices won't load either when loaded through the Cinematics menu for some reason. Oh yeah, whenever there's opening or end cutscene #X it means there's a loading between those. --Psxdriverplayer (talk) 18:43, 18 October 2017 (EDT)
Someone can confirm the correctness of the list, but I think I figured it out, I noticed a few errors on it while getting the rest down. The list is the latest addition in my own thingy I've been making for a few years now, click me. --Psxdriverplayer (talk) 16:14, 19 October 2017 (EDT)
