Unused CT model

There's a chance this model might have been used in the video stress test, but I wouldn't know as I don't have the map source to check the model, then find the model, then see if it is that model. You wouldn't be able to see it normally as the model used is basically built out of water but there's a possibility. --EctoBiologist15 (talk) 07:34, 11 February 2018 (EST)

No, it's not used in the video stress test. It uses a different one called predator.mdl from the shadertest folder. Smoke (talk) 09:57, 11 February 2018 (EST)

"zombie_city" map

The map called City (or zombie_city) was leaked this year, and it's what looks like a Terror-Strike prototype. Unsurprising given Valve prototyped bots in this game, even setting up matches where the (human) Terrorist players fight hordes of CTs that only wield knives. Should we document the map here, or on Development:Left 4 Dead? --BreakingBenny (talk) 11:45, 28 February 2023 (UTC)

Here, because it was made in this game and not Left 4 Dead. L337 KR3W (talk) 11:47, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
Right! It might be worthwhile to also source Mike Booth's developer commentary on the matter. <3 --BreakingBenny (talk) 12:54, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
