Regional releases
I don't think the NES version came out before the Famicom version so much as it is based on an earlier built. According to Nintendo of America's official website, DD3 was released on the same month as the FC version and if the Nintendo Power review published in the April 1991 issue is any indication, it might had actually come out a bit later. - Whatever the case may be, the article still needs to reflect the fact that the NES version is older. The way it's currently written implies that the NES version had things removed, when it's more likely that the Famicom version had things added. --BMF54123 20:15, 22 April 2013 (EDT)
- Point taken. Technos made Double Dragon as a series primarily for western players, so it makes more sense for the U.S. versions of those games to be produced first. Jonny2x4 20:24, 22 April 2013 (EDT)
Tradewest version
It seems that the Tradewest version of the game has already surfaced for quite a while now. There's even a playthrough on Youtube already. Aside from the script, it seems to be almost identical to the Acclaim-published version, although the playthrough does not cover the ending of the game. I'm not sure if the ROM image is in the wild or not, but I would like to update my script comparison at some point once I get a hold of it. Jonny2x4 (talk) 22:17, 22 February 2019 (EST)
