Emulator Question

Does anyone know how to get this working on Project 64? I've tried to use it but it doesn't even work. -oaa

Odd. It works for me on first try, without even having to change the settings. -- Prince Kassad 04:06, 5 June 2010 (EDT)
Yeah, I was using the C-stick right instead of R button.
I've summarized rooms and stuff. Some may need more explanation though. Like the two different Rover scenes. - Oaa

GameCube Version Question

Me and Oaa have been looking at Animal Crossing GC and its debug stuff. Should it be a separate wiki page, or should the same one be used? - Treeki 10:48, 29 June 2010 (EDT)

I suggest putting it on Animal Crossing. Of course, feel free to link the pages to each other. -- Prince Kassad 10:50, 29 June 2010 (EDT)
Given that Animal Crossing spans several games now, it would easily justify its own Series template. --Xk-sig.png Xkeeper (talk) 10:52, 29 June 2010 (EDT)
Oh, here's a fun fact. Animal Crossing: Wild World is based on the SM64DS/NSMB engine, and as such also has the same crash debug screen in it. Not sure about any other unused stuff in it, though ... I never looked into that game beyond finding out that it used the same engine. -- Treeki 10:53, 29 June 2010 (EDT)

Title Screen Music

The title screen theme never plays in its entirety. I'm putting this here since, as far as I know, this applies to this game and all of its GameCube ports. I don't know how to make the whole thing play in DnM. In Animal Crossing (and probably DnM+ and DnMe+), opening the disc cover after the title screen music starts but before the game finishes loading is enough to make it play all the way through. (I'd like to check if it actually works in the other Gamecube games, but I don't have a Gamecube broadband adapter at the moment.) --Joe 00:18, 16 February 2011 (EST)

Do I need the translation of "message transcript" of this talk? --つるはしちぇん (talk) 10:11, 10 April 2017 (EDT)
It appears that two people have translated the Gyroid's full text at the time on writing: https://docs.google.com/document/d/17RuH1gi6YOtA1R7UhnDGQMAFAe-8Dl8eKDZUaec8hcE/edit
It is probably accurate, but it may require some additional research. A further edit will come when I've found a permanent way to link to the document. Still pretty new to this stuff.-- ZanaGB (talk) 12:01, 17 February 2024 (UTC)

Me and a few others have been working on writing out the font map for 动物森林, we should hopefully be able to read all the game's text soon.Jhynjhiruu (talk) 19:15, 29 October 2018 (EDT)

Code for the game shows that the unused Triforce scene transition is programmed in somewhere. Might not be in final version. https://twitter.com/MrCheeze_/status/1287499367977492481

NES emulator includes lines for various 3rd party NES games. Including Arkanoid, F1 Circus, and possibly the bootleg version of Tekken 2. Code for the MMC3 mapper is also listed. https://twitter.com/orcastraw/status/1287557604877557760
