Two apparently unused font images can still be found as font\f09_001.tmx and TestData\font\f11_001.tmx
This is Persona 4 (PS2) fonts! — The preceding unsigned comment was added by asasa (talk • contribs)
- Nice, I hadn't noticed! This font shows up in a bunch of Atlus games for 3DS. I'll make note of it on the page. -M64m (talk) 21:05, 17 November 2014 (EST)
Alternate conversations
I've read that there are a few rare conversations that change when you have the guest characters in your party: for example, when visiting the fifth labyrinth and running into Logre/Wufan/Kibagami, with them in your party you'd instead run into generic Imperials/Vessels/Sentinels (who would then have a conversation with the recruited guest). I know that a text dump is being worked on, so would these alternate conversations be worth mentioning in the article? - Delpolo (talk) 19:15, 17 September 2014 (EDT)
More unused images
I don't have access to the textures (so there might be unused enemies, who knows), but combing through all the .stex files I've found quite a bit more than just the two things mentioned in the article. I'd rather have someone more experienced with TCRF add them to the article, so... here: [1] - Delpolo (talk) 18:26, 4 October 2014 (EDT)
- ...Replace any mention of "beta" with "early", whoops. Anyways, I've gone through the textures, and there's definitely also unused monster textures. At the very least, I found a third lion texture (pure white, when the Sleeping Lion is yellow/brown and the Red Lion is red/white), a third giant turtle texture, and a second Sand Leviathan texture (blue instead of sandy yellow). Didn't note the file names, sorry. - Delpolo (talk) 00:37, 6 October 2014 (EDT)
- Started looking over your findings, jotting down some notes here in the process:
- Not sure if the duplicates in Mori4stex\Battle\CharaData are that noteworthy... Maybe mention them as an oddity, i.e. no need to put the images on the page.
- The smaller Berund Atelier and Explorer's Guild backgrounds in Mori4stex\Camp\Bg appear to be the ones used at Berund Atelier on the bottom screen, behind your characters' stats, the blue one being used when pressing X once to view the currently "inactive" party members. Not sure where/when that third one is used, if at all...
- The tiny portraits in Mori4stex\Camp\Chara_Cam are probably those used on the skill customization screen, considering ex. the filenames "ig_cus_###". Doesn't explain Wiglaf, Kirjonen, etc. tho...
- The Japanese keyboard leftovers probably don't need their images on the page either, like the various portrait duplicates. Surely deserve a mention, tho.
- The files with Japanese text in Mori4stex\MapDungeon should be something for the page, yeah. Unlike the Japanese keyboard, which likely is the one used in the Japanese version, the Japanese text in this folder might not be used in that version, either... can't really be sure, tho.
- ...that's about what comes to mind. I'll start adding the stuff that's unused for sure, as well as the oddities, later today I guess. --Xdaniel (talk) 10:26, 7 October 2014 (EDT)
- While looking through the EO4 artbook a while back I noticed some monster images in the vein of the textures you described (lion, turtle, sand leviathan). They all seem to be labeled for use as part of QR quests, in the vein of the Mega Pooka - I'll look through the code archive to see if any of those were obviously localized later; here's a LQ scan of one of the sections in question (the lions). --Yomidian (talk) 13:13, 5 July 2015 (EDT)
- Those are some monsters exclusive to QR quests. They're in the Japanese version, but don't seem to be accessible in the international versions at the moment. The game still has data on those enemies. -Dr. Fetus (talk) 16:35, 18 April 2016 (EDT)

Overworld NPC Guest Data
So I've been doing a bit of digging through the game, and found some stuff in Wiglaf's, Kirjonen's, and Baldur's NPC guest data. I made a few writeups on those NPCs for some other sites (Wiglaf, Kirjonen, Baldur.) Kind of new here, and I was wondering if this stuff would be a good fit for this page. -Dr. Fetus (talk) 16:35, 18 April 2016 (EDT)
Unused QR code enemies
https://imgur.com/a/Ajrjo Found this on another site. Is this legit? Didn't saw anything on here so... --Knightofthewind (talk) 20:46, 20 October 2018 (EDT)
- Haven't personally tried to load them up in-game, but their names, as well as the related drop and equipment names do exist in the game's data - I'd say they're legit. This page is kinda incomplete and outdated, too, so don't discount something you might see elsewhere just because it's not listed here. I really should make an effort to at least add my more recent findings to the page... --Xdaniel (talk) 21:53, 20 October 2018 (EDT)
- They are. I was the one who uploaded those screenshots. It's not really unused content, so much as it was unreleased to anyone outside of Japan. These enemies are from QR quests that are exclusive to the Japanese version. Well, not entirely exclusive. We could theoretically access them if we had access to the QR codes, but we don't since they never released those for whatever reason (And they're region locked, so don't try to scan a Japanese QR code with an English copy, it won't work.) As for how I got the data, I just changed the encounter data to load in the enemies, since they're still in the enemy files. Dr. Fetus (talk) 17:07, 21 October 2018 (EDT)
- Something to check is to see if loading a Japanese save file (and/or extra data) with the content unlocked on a US/UK game will work. Some games will work doing this, some don't. Alternately loading a US/UK save on a Japanese game to unlock the quests. TrainerX493 (talk) 10:37, 20 November 2018 (EST)
