NeGcon Controller
Through some VRAM snooping, I found a NeGcon controller graphic. Wikipedia says it wasn't very popular in the US, but can anybody confirm how the controller did in the UK and Japan? I don't want to add this unless it was so obscure you wouldn't know it existed. -- Fuzn 10:45, 22 March 2013 (EDT)
- For peoples wondering, the software instruction manual tells you that it works with the game and the appropriate controls. --PSXDRIVERPLAYER OUT. (talk) 02:04, 19 April 2022 (UTC)
60 FPS on any Track?
By beating the Game, you unlock HI-RES Mode which will allow you drive 3 Tracks (Special Stage Route 5,Clubman Stage Route 5 and Special Stage Route 11) with 60 FPS albeit with less Track Scenery. But I found some AR-Codes which supossedly let you play any track with 60 FPS.Sadly,I don't know for which Versions this code is so can somebody check if this works?
The code is:
D00B63EC 0019
300B63EC 00XX

Demo differences
I've compiled a list of differences between one of the demos and a version of the full game of the same region http://pastebin.com/EBFrMgZb There is another demo out there that I should compare. Feel free to make a page of this if you wish. --Descension (talk) 00:39, 10 August 2015 (EDT)
- Yeah, there was a demo disc featured with one of the Playstation Underground retail discs. I forget exactly which one, though, but it was on the same disc as a Duke Nukem: Time to Kill demo. It was an unlimited demo featuring a single race, and a racing modified body Subaru Impreza was one of the drivable cars. --Fuzn (talk) 00:57, 10 August 2015 (EDT)
Track list
Figured things. That list which follows mostly the same format as the PAL list - it's as if that feature was intended for NTSC/U as well. PAL list goes internally like this: Stream 1 Track 1, Stream 2 Track 1, Stream 3 Track 1, Stream 4 Track 1, Stream 1 Track 2, Stream 2 Track 2, Stream 3 Track 2, Stream 4 Track 2, Stream 1 Track 3 and Stream 2 Track 3. While NTSC/U list would match that format as well, Skeletal is Stream 4 Track 4, not Stream 2 Track 3 and Industry is Stream 2 Track 3 instead of Stream 2 Track 4 (yes, As Heaven Is Wide is actually Track 1 in both, Stream 1 and Stream 3). --PSXDRIVERPLAYER OUT. - Had to check, and yes, this recently added list follows the same logic as NTSC/U and PAL lists, interesting different names when compared to the soundtrack CD. The structure listed here is [IN-GAME TRACK NAME] [(IN-GAME STREAM NUMBER TRACK NUMBER)] [(SOUNDTRACK TRACK NAME)]: FREEDOM TO WIN (Stream 1 Track 1) - NO BODY (Stream 2 Track 1) (Nobody) - GREEN MONSTER (Stream 3 Track 1) - New G.T. 1 (Stream 4 Track 1) (Get Closer) - G.T 2 (Stream 1 Track 2) (Kiss You Good-Bye) - MOON OVER THE CASTLE (Stream 2 Track 2) - JAZZ (Stream 3 Track 2) (A Man Of The World) - LIKE THE WIND (Stream 4 Track 2) - MORE THAN LOVING (Stream 1 Track 3) - G.T 3 (Stream 2 Track 3) (Going To Extremes) - interesting stuff. --PSXDRIVERPLAYER OUT.
