"OPTIONSARECD" contains all the letters necessary to spell "ENTER CODE"... The order supports this as well (same as START). 02:52, 29 December 2010 (EST)

That's probably it. I added that information to the page. -Fo-sig.gifFlying Omelette 06:43, 29 December 2010 (EST)

About the 3-D effect... thing, I think it's possible that the effect was considered already fully implemented, i.e. there're not supposed to be any red/blue colour filters. I have a feeling that at one point Nintendo might have planned to make the Super Famicom compatible with the Famicom 3-D glasses (the glasses were actually interchangeable with the Master System ones and the LaserActive ones; the only difference is the adapters to hook them up to the systems), but as the glasses weren't that popular at that time (and they were never released for the NES AFAIK, which made the NES versions of Rad Racer and JJ support only Red/Blue 3-D effects). It may be possible that if they kept the feature they would eventually provide support for both shutter LCD glasses and R/B glasses though. --Gilbert 04:46, 10 January 2011 (EST)

I second this, mostly because the FDS game Falsion has a full 3D mode which, without the glasses, looks like a blur/doubling kind of effect and that's all it does. I can always see if I can get screenshots of it for further proof. -- Rick 13:01, 10 January 2011 (EST)
There is no need to prove it, as Falsion indeed supports the 3-D system. I had the add-on back at the time, so I'm sure about iy. --Gilbert
