Engine change and graphics

Are you sure the engine had nothing to do with the graphics? If I'm not wrong, the SCI engine was capable of handling bigger resolutions, and all the improved graphics versions coincide with the SCI engine.

Also, as far as I know (will have to check it better), the known versions are:

SCI: 1.000.111, 1.006.003, 1.006.004

AGI: 2.0, 2.3

AGI:

SCI:

It's pretty obvious that none of the shots on the page are from the AGI versions. It seems that one of the later SCI versions further improved upon the already-improved graphics from the first SCI version, which is what the page currently covers. --BMF54123 04:17, 20 August 2013 (EDT)
Then, which version is the SCI one, how I can recognize it, and if possible, where can I find it? Because those are all the versions I could gather for PC. Also, I've just checked and the 1.000.111 version is from 1988. --Wandrell 04:28, 20 August 2013 (EDT)
Wait, I read it wrong, I understood the ones I added weren't AGI. Still, the further improved SCI version is one I would like to see. Were the page's screenshots taken all from the DOS version? Because the further improved ones seems to be from the Amiga edition. --Wandrell 04:42, 20 August 2013 (EDT)
Actually, what you have put as the AGI version, is the AGI version. You can check this by looking at the filesystem:
  • If it has files such as *VOL.*, *DIR, OBJECT, and WORDS.TOK then it runs on the AGI engine
  • If it has RESOURCE.* then it runs on the SCI engine
Hope this helps. -- Einstein95 (talk) 05:11, 20 August 2013 (EDT)
