Log Flume Drop

Does anyone know how to reactivate the Log Flume Drop without usage of internet based technology? Perhaps you could put a walkthrough on how to reactivate it on a computer without internet. Or maybe a way to access the code without using hacker programs and internet. Thank you.

More textstuff

Here are some more unused text files. I'm not entirely sure they're unused and I suck at Wiki magic, so I'll just dump em here.

GAME OVER:

You failed to pass the park inspector's appraisal and he's closed the park.

everyone's out of work. Tilly's destraught, she says that she could run a park better than you.

Tracy's applied for a job at Altered Towers, but she thinks that her plastic body may stand against her.

-Alternate game over, seems to be talking down on you, I can see why they cut this.

Great work

Just one more thing to test you on. Now this is the final level and it's a real toughie. But I know you can do it so here's what you have to do.

Have good zoning using all the themes. Use lots of different attractions, rides, shops and plants. Save up 500 coins. Don't have anyone hungry or unhappy. Don't forget to fix anything thats broken. Have lots of scenery along the paths.

Good luck and make that park a good one.

-First part is the same, second part is a bit more ambiguous and the coin requirement is cut in final.

To change the in-game music press the SHIFT key once, then type one of the following: theme, west, egypt, castle, inca

You need to link the entrances and exits of rides (the arrows) with PATHS.

You can get rid objects by clicking the ERASER button.

To get an overview of your Park, click the map icon.

It is very important that you find out how the visitors are, to do this click the QUESTION MARK and click a customer. You can also do this by clicking a visitor with the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON.

If you get really stuck on a level use these hints to help you!

Remember, everything in LEGOLAND is made from real LEGO bricks - if you delete something you get the bricks back.

-Some early hints.

I believe those were all missing unuseds. --DVH

Test Menu?

In Legoland.exe, at offset 0x000B3052, there is the text "TestMenu". Is there any way this menu can be activated or are there any remnants of it, or is it completely gone? --AttackedbyGlitch

Try opening the EXE in ResHacker and see if you find anything. Devin 15:15, 16 September 2011 (EDT)
In addition to the sound test, I found these text strings:
WINDEBUG
__DEBUG_CALLOC
__DEBUG_FREE
__DEBUG_MALLOC
__DEBUG_REALLOC
__DEBUG_SMALLOC
__DEBUG_TAG
OutputDebugStringA
Starting the game with these at the end of the file path will either cause lack of music or lack of an intro.
-nomusic
-nointro
I was also able to find this dialog with ResHacker.

I think we should get in touch with a dev

It might help us a lot with understanding how we can hack the cut stuff in.

Early Screenshots

I found some early screenshots of this game, which features a different GUI with a creepy picture of Jonathan Ablebody next to a few buttons that might have switched him with another character. The back of the game's box features a near-final build of the game, but one of the screenshots features Jonathan Ablebody saying "Build a LEGO Shop." which may have been an early name for the LEGO Media Shop. --AttackedbyGlitch 15:59, 19 February 2013 (EST)

Rope Climb Ride

This section was added by Brickticks, but it's pretty badly written and needs some clarification, especially the last part:

This ride is used in the castle theme and depicts a medieval obstacle course. It's ride preview icon is globe like the Water Works Drier ride. Imagery needed. Both this ride and the Log Flume Drop can be obtained by entering the coding for the profiles via insert disk and search 'profiles' in your computer's program search bar.

Any takers? --BMF54123 16:17, 30 July 2013 (EDT)

Looks like there was one more unused ride I forgot. I'll make version 2 of the unused rides patch soon and add a section for the Rope Climb Ride. As for the "profiles", I have no idea what he means. --AttackedbyGlitch 16:59, 30 July 2013 (EDT)
Profiles means the data used for your profile, it can be accessed by clicking on the browse button when you are searching your computer using the computer's search bar, just look in the Lego games file by pressing the plus next to it on the screen that pops up when you click browse, and continue clicking pluses until you find a file called Profiles, it's in the same area as four other files, once you do so, just find your profiles data and change one character to any other character to get the Rope Climb Ride.
Also, does anyone know how to take screenshots? Once I find this out I will upload a picture. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Brickticks (talk • contribs)
How long will it take to add the Rope Climb Ride to the patch? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Brickticks (talk • contribs)

Does the link to download the unused rides have the Rope Climb Ride added yet? Brickticks (talk) 15:43, 18 November 2013 (EST)

Nope. --BMF54123 (talk) 15:45, 18 November 2013 (EST)
How do I download the patch to the game? Brickticks (talk) 15:02, 1 December 2013 (EST)
It's not done yet. --BMF54123 (talk) 15:05, 1 December 2013 (EST)
O.K., When will it be done? Brickticks (talk) 15:13, 1 December 2013 (EST)
Why don't you ask AttackedbyGlitch? --BMF54123 (talk) 15:14, 1 December 2013 (EST)
I was basically asking anyone who would know. If anyone can tell me when it will be done it would be much obliged. Brickticks (talk) 15:42, 1 December 2013 (EST)
"When will it be done?"
Whenever I get around to it. I've recently been distracted by schoolwork, so don't expect it to be out immediately. --AttackedbyGlitch (talk) 15:51, 1 December 2013 (EST)
Oh, OK. Good luck with whatever it is that your doing. Brickticks (talk) 16:08, 1 December 2013 (EST)
I hope the new picture helps. Brickticks (talk) 19:56, 6 December 2013 (EST)
So, uh, any progress? Brickticks (talk) 16:00, 31 March 2014 (EDT)
The only computer I had that would run LEGOLAND died recently, I'm currently looking for another. I'll try making an updated version of the patch this week, although I won't be able to test it. EDIT: I've updated the patch, adding the Rope Climb Ride to level 2. I still can't test it. Does it work properly? --AttackedbyGlitch (talk) 17:28, 31 March 2014 (EDT)
This summer I will be getting a new Windows 8 laptop and should be able to test it then, the only other computer I have it on doesn't have internet so I am writing this from a different computer. I just hope the guy at Best Buy was right about Windows 8's being able to run old software like this. Brickticks (talk) 15:52, 1 April 2014 (EDT)
Oh, I almost forgot, what exactly does it mean when it says that applying the patch will add the Rope Climb Ride to level 2 replacing the Octopus Cafe? Meaning, Do you still get the Octopus Cafe later in the game or is it out completely? I just wanted to know since I do a lot of free play maps and really am just asking if you would still get the Octopus Cafe for free play. Oh, and one more thing, will applying this patch do anything to the sound on the game? I'm just asking because the way I found out about the Rope Climb Ride was through a cheat code that disabled most of the sounds in-game when I used it. Brickticks (talk) 16:00, 1 April 2014 (EDT)
The patch will make you get the Rope Climb Ride instead of the Octopus Cafe on level 2, but I'm not too sure if you will get the Octopus Cafe later in the game because my current computer doesn't like running LEGOLAND. To my knowledge, the patch shouldn't affect the game's sound in any way. By the way, what cheat code are you using? It may be useful for finding more unused rides. --AttackedbyGlitch (talk) 17:10, 1 April 2014 (EDT)
So, how do I apply it? Brickticks (talk) 15:46, 8 September 2014 (EDT)

Cheeky Monkey Bridge?

I found an unused adio file in the Legoland Game that is called Cheeky Monkey Bridge. It is the sound of Johnathan Ablebody say something about the Cheeky Monkey Bridge. I think that this Cheeky Monkey bridge was supposed to be part of the Jungle Cruise but I don't know. Could someone look into that for me or maybe post how to upload audio file? Thank you. Brickticks (talk) 20:57, 4 April 2014 (EDT)

DIE command

Figure out why DIE only closes the game sometimes.

Cheats work all over the place so if you would want to enter your name starting with Die the game would exit. Simply pressing shift twice and then entering DIE works perfectly. If you look at the unused text page you see all commands start with : while DIE starts with ::. : is what it sees as the shift having been pressed. Holding shift down is also not required as it sees all input as caps with or without it that way. --0x00401000 (talk) 15:03, 30 April 2016 (EDT)

IPS Patch, does not work!

I tried applying it via LunarIPS, (I think I spelled that right), and now it won't even play the intro animation, and won't even start the first tutorial level, which when I try to it just says the game has stopped working and closes it. So, AttackedbyGlitch, your patch does not work, and I'm pretty upset by it. So, please, FIX THE DARN THING!!! No offense meant, I am just not a happy camper right now. Rockatoa, Brickticks out! Brickticks (talk) 14:35, 19 November 2016 (EST)

I AM FED UP!!!!! YOU ARE GOING TO TELL ME, WORD FOR WORD, IN HIGH DETAIL, HOW TO GET THAT STUPID IPS PATCH YOU MADE FOR THIS GAME OFF MY GAME!!!!!!!!!! YOU HEAR ME ATTACKEDBYGLITCH!?!?!? I AM SO MAD AT YOU AND YOUR PATCH RIGHT NOW THAT I AM CONSIDERING PRESSING CHARGES FOR DAMAGE TO MY COMPUTER!!!!!!!!!!! SO, HOW DO I GET THE STUPID THING GONE!?!?!?!? CAUSE UNTIL THEN, YOU ARE BEING HELD PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGES TO MY COMPUTER AND GAME ATTACKEDBYGLITCH!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Can't you just reinstall the game? Smoke (talk) 16:02, 19 November 2016 (EST)
Sorry about yelling, but I tried that, and the problem persists. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to get over to the School of Dragons Forum, cause I think Mr. Glitch might be over there, and I really need his help. Again, sorry for shouting, I was both angry and panicked all at once, so, I'm gonna go talk to Mr. Glitch now, bye. Rockatoa, Brickticks out! Brickticks (talk) 16:47, 19 November 2016 (EST)
You know, yelling and demanding like that, even when frustrated, makes you sound like a massive jerk and will have people want to help you -less-. Use civility, not caps lock. Rick (talk) 18:26, 19 November 2016 (EST)
Sorry, I should not have yelled, I was angry, panicked, and should not have yelled. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I think I just go and see if I can Find AttackedbyGlitch elsewhere, I think I saw him on either the School of Dragons forum or the Lego.com Message Board, Rockatoa, Brickticks out! Brickticks (talk) 12:34, 20 November 2016 (EST)
Good news!!!! I fixed it!!! Yeah, turns out the problem was the files weren't written to the disk yet, and I'm actually kinda scared to actually write them to it. So, I probably won't be using this patch, unless I get confirmation that it will work with the 64-bit install version without problems. Oh well, sorry for yelling, I'm just really protective of my game. Rockatoa, Brickticks out! Brickticks (talk) 13:01, 2 February 2017 (EST)

Log Flume Drop removal theory....

So, yeah, just wanted to say that I have a theory as to why the Log Flume Drop went unused. Simply put, it was an accident. That's right, I've just looked at the Legoland.res file, (via Notepad), and noticed that the Log Flume Drop was still in the Level Objective Script for Levels 4 & 5, (also I checked Level 3, yeah, the Log Flume Drop was never part of Level 3), the only problem with it is that next to its two entries there is a hashtag, (#), which I'm guessing when it's used as the first character in a entry it means the entry will not be ran with rest the script, or appear in the resulting level. Since the LFD, (Log Flume Drop), appears in both scripts, and due to the length of the script, (which even my Windows 8.1 has trouble rendering all at once), I can assume that it was simply forgotten about and when the game was published the LFD passed right under the noses of Devs, who were probably thought that they had included it in at least one of the levels but due to unknown reasons, (possibly communication error), both levels with the LFD were absent of it. That being said, the devs probably didn't do a final check of their code before sending the master disk o be copied so the game could be mass produced. So, I personally think it's highly likely that the LFD was meant to be included but was accidentally removed due to the simply fact of not checking the final code before production. Yep, one guy was told to remove it from level 4 and due to the length of the code thought he removed it from level 4 but accidentally removed it from level 5 too. Sad fate for such an amazing piece of Legoland Technology. Oh well, what do you think? Rockatoa, Brickticks out! Brickticks (talk) 13:18, 2 February 2017 (EST)
