Extra Toggle

It's unknown why, but the extra toggle seems to not do anything when enabled, which is odd because usually in Lego Star Wars, and Lego Indiana Jones (known on there as Secret Characters) will let you play as secret characters in the games in free play. The article for this game has the characters mentioned, but there put on the part of the file that is labled as test characters. I think that part should be updated to mention that you can re-implement these characters with extra toggle, as shown in this video.

Early Harley Quinn model

From what I have established from the manual and the prerelease images I've been sifting through, Harley Quinn had a substantially different character model. In fact, the beta model is shown as one of the Windows autorun/installer's images. So what I think might be great to look for is if they left anything pertaining to this early model in the game's retail release.

GAME.DAT\chars\harleyquinn\harleyquinn_lr_pc.ghg is the final texture archive used, whereas GAME.DAT\chars\harleyquinn\harleyquinn_pc.ghg is the early one. The primary body texture is corrupted in the early archive. That seems to be the only leftover, unless you can find some unused animations in the harleyquinn directory. OK then, so we might want to get those textures then and put them on here. I don't think I have the tools for animations and model viewing at the moment, so this would have to be a joint effort. --JeffMandM (talk) 08:34, 12 August 2014 (EDT)
This is inaccurate; both HARLEYQUINN_LR_PC.GHG and HARLEYQUINN_PC.GHG are used, depending on whether Enhanced Graphics is enabled or not.

Comments

Some comments have some interesting insight into the game's development. For example, in AUDIO\MUSIC.CFG, we learn that they may have originally planned to use Shirley Walker's Batman: The Animated Series score (which would have certainly helped reduce the overreliance on Elfman's score that the final game has):

Removing DummyChar References

The "DummyChar" characters are in fact used as the invisible characters you take over for the vehicles in the batcave to select levels.
