I thought Oerg866 would be interested in this anyway, and

[23:03] <Oerg866> also andlabs:
[23:03] <Oerg866> As can be seen when unpacking the disk image, the game executable is called !logical (read as: NOT logical). This might be a in-joke by the developers.
[23:03] <andlabs> or quality control
[23:03] <Oerg866> thats not true
[23:04] <Oerg866> many games at that time had an ! at the beginning
[23:04] <Oerg866> dont remember why though
[23:04] <andlabs> ok
[23:04] <andlabs> if you do find out or if I do I'll remove it
[23:04] <andlabs> until then talk page
[23:04] <pocketKit> !sensical
[23:04] <Oerg866> "I only learned one lesson from that" <-- this translation is too literal
[23:05] <Oerg866> you better translate it to "The only thing I've learned from that" or similar
[23:05] <Oerg866> and NEVERMORE is a broken english in the first place
[23:05] <-- K2Jbook has left this channel.
[23:05] <Oerg866> Translates litterally to "nie mehr" which is wrong in an english gramatical sense
[23:06] <Oerg866> but "nie mehr" means never again
[23:06] <Oerg866> That's all i can say about that article :V
[23:06] <Oerg866> And yes, GFA BASIC is shit :P
[23:06] <andlabs> Oerg866: I am assuming NEVERMORE was in the original
[23:06] <andlabs> as the word became famous after edgar allen poe's poem The Raven
[23:07] <Oerg866> Yes
[23:07] <Oerg866> but no
[23:07] <Oerg866> but
[23:07] <Oerg866> NEVERMORE isnt exactly a common phrase here
[23:07] <Oerg866> the guy just translatted the two words "nie" and "mehr"
[23:07] <Oerg866> without any context between the two, those would translate to NEVER and MORE
[23:08] <Oerg866> He probably wanted to look cool :V
[23:08] <-- DustArma|Android has left this server (Connection closed).
[23:08] <Oerg866> anyway gnite
[23:08] <Metal_Man88> Niemand
