Unused enemies, animations, and oddities?

I've been messing around with debug stuff in this game, mostly because I'm working on a sprite ripping project, and I couldn't help but notice some possibly unused animations for some monsters and bosses (regular Jellies have what I think is a teleporting animation), a red version of the Winged Lion enemy (maybe it's an actual enemy, though I never ran into it on debug mode), and the fact that Neo Bats have their Lufia II color scheme in their back sprite but an updated color scheme in their front sprite. I kinda wish I could get help for this stuff, whether this is actually unused or if I just have bad luck running into these things/lack of knowledge about the workings of the game. • Nevermind about the red Winged Lion, I'm an idiot who just never seemed to run into it. Everything else still stands though. I wish I could get some input in this. LucasRCD (talk) 01:51, 28 September 2020 (UTC)

Unused compendium entries?

Snooping around the ROM using a hex editor reveals that bosses and the Gratze Soldier/Commander enemies appear to have their own compendium entries, some even with their own descriptions! Ancient Cave exclusive bosses have blank descriptions though.

88..Goldiark.A.[ƒN....................................The Beast. Ancient creature.......unmatched in strength...

00..Dark Guardian.....................................Its job is to guard Lugwa.‚Ì......Tower for all eternity..

Monster Crony.....................................A monster that protects .^.[......Ragule......

Also, interestingly enough, I found out the name of the unused golden Lord Jelly that was elluding me for so long. It's called Golden Lord, and its name is located right before Shinju's, indicating that it was supposed to be an Ancient Cave boss. Maybe its stats are even still present in the ROM? Someone's gotta document this. If not, then I'll eventually do it myself. --LucasRCD (talk) 03:06, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
