Alpha version

Apparently there is an alpha version (not to be confused with the demo version, which the proto:Pharaoh article covers at the time of this writing). They said the alpha version might not exist on the internet. There are a couple screenshots.

There are a few more screenshots on the website. I also was told this should be a prerelease article rather than proto. --Mugg1991 (talk) 14:21, 28 August 2018 (EDT)

Unused Goods

This post has a screenshot showing goods named Unused12, which is apparently the result of a bug in the game. To quote Brugle:
"That's a well-known bug. When a caravan is selling a good at a storage yard that accepts multiple goods that you are importing from their city (in this case copper and granite, even though granite has filled its part of the storage yard), the caravan might deliver anything: a good that it can sell, another good that it can't, a good that doesn't exist in the mission, or even Unused12." --Mugg1991 (talk) 05:23, 7 January 2017 (EST)

temple2_r audio

Hey I am new here but I want to write and contribute something to this page. There was an executable data on the CD-Rom which used this sound "temple2_r", maybe more. It was a contest pop-up and winner could win a trip to Egypt or something. I know I have the old CD (German ver.) lying around but I used the collection of city building games in recent years. If I should find it what should I do?

Hello Machael, thanks for your message, here is my belated reply. I looked through my game and found the temple2_r sound. In fact, it is already listed on the page. What's new to me is that it was used in a notification for a contest? Which means it was used in some demo version? Such information could definitely be added. If you have more information, please feel free to share. Unless your temple2_r sound is different from what's on the page, nothing more needs to be done, I guess. --Mugg1991 (talk) 16:44, 13 June 2019 (EDT)

I am very sorry for the late reply. I found that executeable data named Comp.exe that uses this sound. It's found in a folder named C3Trailer (for Caesar 3). Like I said I have the German version. I am unsure if I should post a download link for this data. I took a screenshot from the main part of this Comp.exe: https://s18.directupload.net/images/190805/4vnm6pi8.png. No special animation, the sound is played once, the rest of the screen is black and you can close it by clicking the button. I bought the game around 2001 they probably didn't bother to remove it from the CD-Rom and it can still be found in the (German) collector edition (I didn't know that before, I re-echecked it). The game was released in Nov 1999 and the deadline of the contest was 28th Feb 2000. Maybe the older versions had a special advertisment in the box? Anyway, there is no real indication that the sound nor the contest was used in the actual game. I have the demo version (download) of the game but I couldn't find anything of the contest. I hope I could help.
