Anti-piracy on Mega Drive
So I went onto ZSNES and booted up Pocket Monsters. And yes, the anti-piracy was there, Ash kept scrolling. So I tried the Mega Drive version with Fusion and it worked -- there didn't seem to be any anti-piracy features. Should I remove the part that says "It's unknown if similar anti-piracy measures exist in the Genesis version."? --EctoBiologist15 (talk) 04:01, 16 July 2017 (EDT)
- Because it works doesn't necessarily mean that there's no anti-piracy; Fusion might just emulate it well enough that it can't tell that it's being pirated. --

- That sentence is kind of silly the way it's written. I say there could be, but it's unknown if there are any anti-piracy measures. One thing for sure it that it's not like the SNES version. I guess depends how far one can get in the game. Probably might not work in Exodus or Gens for all I know. Also, ZSNES is pretty inaccurate and I prefer SNES9x myself. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 04:06, 16 July 2017 (EDT)
- I tried it on Gens and it wouldn't even start up -- just a black screen. --EctoBiologist15 (talk) 08:29, 17 July 2017 (EDT)
