Is there such a thing as "too many jokes"?

I just needed to point out that, as much as I love a nice joke here and there, it seems to be getting to the point where it's sometimes not clear if you're just reading a random joke or something that might be actually pointing out the relevance of the lost material it references... Just saying. =|

Unused bytes in VOL files

Using the program from Talk:King's_Quest:_Quest_for_the_Crown#Unused duplicate resources in VOL files that scans for bytes in VOL files that are not referred to by any directory files on the game files of https://archive.org/details/police-quest-in-pursuit-of-the-death-angel finds only a few truncated resource headers:
