Judging from its appearance on the title screen, I really, really don't think "Police vs. Thief" was meant to be a prefix title. I think it was just meant to be a caption. If no one else objects to this, I'll remove that from the page name and bob. --Gmestanley (talk) 01:40, 5 February 2025 (UTC)

That's a possible reading of the title screen on its own, but I would leave the page as it is:
1. The compilation products where the game appears—DreamGear 75-in-1, Orb Gaming Mini Arcade Machine, Sup Game Box, Classic Games 500-in-1 (#461 at 13:32)—all list it as Police vs Thief in their menus.
2. The dual title appears to be the most commonly used form online (IGDB, LaunchBox, 3D adaptation, online multiplayer adaptation), and is certainly the easiest to search for.
3. There's reportedly a variant, "likely developed for the European market", that actually omits the words Violent Chasing from the title screen.

"Police vs. Thief" is part of the title, in my opinion. If it was a caption or tagline, it wouldn't have those impact lines surrounding it. ReyVGM (talk) 05:23, 5 February 2025 (UTC)
