About the ship scene for Early Poptropica Island:

are we absolutely sure there's no evidence it was EVER used? I played this game in 2007, when there was only this one island, and I remember a scene like this playing at the end. With an animation of fireworks. Is there no way to find or access older versions of this game to check? It seems strange to me that this page doesn't also have a section of revision differences. I wish that there was a way to check the oldest versions of the game, but it's pretty much impossible. The AS2 version of Poptropica is exclusive to the Poptropica website, and whenever that version of the game got an update, all of the outdated files would get overwritten. Almost no archives of the game's files were made before 2020, either. The ship scene is interesting though. I haven't been able to find any photos or videos of it, and I don't think I've seen any anecdotes about it before.
Revision differences would be difficult to document. The mobile app has been updated hundreds of times, and who knows how often the browser game has. The good news is that the mobile app's AS3 island files are all stored individually on Poptropica's servers (and archived), so if anyone wants to compare those between versions, they totally can! I'm not sure what TCRF-y stuff could be documented that wouldn't be tedious to discover, though. --Nicko (talk) 10:30, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
