Where are the credits?

The article says: "The "K. IS" indicates that it is from Kazuyuki Ishihama, who is listed under "Other Staff" in the credits. " But as far as I know, this game doesn't have an ending or credits, so where did that "Other Staff" info came from? Are there hidden credits? ReyVGM (talk) 22:10, 10 August 2016 (EDT)

I don't believe there are any credits either, but MobyGames confirms the information. The original editor might have been referring to the manual, but I didn't see anything in the North American one. I'll try to track down the Japanese manual when I find time, because it really shouldn't be phrased that way if there aren't any official credits anywhere. --Keatzee (talk) 22:52, 10 August 2016 (EDT)
The source was: CIPO copyright record
" http://www.ic.gc.ca/app/opic-cipo/cpyrghts/dtls.do;jsessionid=0000fVn5h33-vUHRo3aAsYwm4uz:13nso804o?fileNum=335669&type=1&lang=eng -- "Ishiham" is definitely a typo in the CIPO listing " --NewUserNameAgain (talk) 04:26, 12 August 2016 (EDT)

Regarding "BS SimCity Machizukuri Taikai"

I know there's been discussion on the IRC and this forum here about this, neither of which I am currently a part of, so I think a decision should be made about where this old gem belongs. The reason I added it in the first place is because I've been playing this game since I was a kid and the idea of an expansion of sorts really interests me, and I wanted to document it and bring more interest to it in case anyone is able to track it down. I've searched for weeks all over weird Japanese forums and archives and turned up nothing, so I think it's safe to say that if there is a dump out there somewhere, it will take a lot of time, effort and manpower to uncover it.

So right now it seems that we can either leave BS SimCity's info as-is within this article, give it it's own article and category for "previously available but now lost" games, or remove it and post it instead to a more-appropriate wiki like the Lost Media or Hidden Palace wikis. Well, I think it should be posted on those wikis anyway, but I don't really care what happens as long as it goes somewhere a lot of people can see it.

Regardless, SimCity is a popular game and I'm sure there'd be a lot of public interest if the word got out that there's an "expansion" so to speak. I'm considering contacting the guy who wrote this article known as "Madick" (seriously), as he still seems to be active in the BS-X scene, but I don't speak Japanese and don't really want to send him something put through Google Translate. --Keatzee (talk) 22:09, 10 September 2016 (EDT)

Sim City NES Prototype

It seems that the NES prototype of Sim City, essentially the same game as the SNES version, has unused content as documented here. Is anyone documenting this prototype on TCRF? --ConnorRentz (talk) 00:21, 28 December 2018 (EST)

Meta Knight cameo?

According to this, Meta Knight appears during one of Dr. Wright's status screens, but only in the Japanese version. Anyone able to confirm? -WarioBarker (talk) 10:47, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

I haven't checked, but I don't believe that's true. Sim City came out in 1991, Metaknight was first introduced in 1993's Kirby's Adventure. Also, Metaknight is by HAL, Sim City was made by Intelligent Systems. In '91, HAL characters and Nintendo's characters were not mixed like they are now. They started to get more intertwined after the release of 1992's Kirby's Dream Land. ReyVGM (talk) 23:45, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
