Subpage icons

All the recent work done to organize this game's content in and out of subpages has turned out great! What's up with the custom icons used for the subpage links though? I thought the standard on TCRF was to re-use already-uploaded images of related unused content as icons. Xkcdfan52 (talk) 00:22, 11 May 2023 (UTC)

Captain Agent 3 gear???

So on Twitter this user named Keg (@Kegshinpu) on Twitter they said that Nintendo is planning to release the Captain Gear set for Splatoon 3's 1st anniversary and they said that Nintendo sent the E-mails with the code early and included a code from the E-shop and an image of said code and someone wearing the gear in-game (In the image I included under this post the abilities are changed op said that the person who sent this image changed the ability chunks via Spyke/Murch) Now I know that the Captain 3's gear is in the files so it is very easy to hack in but the op is consisting that this is true But what's suspicious is this: -I put in the code but it said "This code can not be recognized" but if someone else redeems a code before you it will say "Someone else has already redeemed the code" if I recall correctly -If my memory serves me right, codes for the E-shop are randomly generated and don't have anything that has the subject/event in the code so the part of the code that starts with SPL31 (obviously referring to Splatoon 3's 1st anniversary) is really suspicious to me If this is real or fake please let me know asap Thank you! Characters floating in space

S3 Characters In Space.jpg

So apparently Callie, Marie and Big Man are floating in space during the final boss, should we investigate this further?

This is just how the game manages models that are loaded for things like cutscenes: it places them doing static poses (typically A poses) in miscellaneous spots off-camera. Unless its visible during regular gameplay or somehow particularly interesting, I don't think it should be noted on the page. Can they be spotted while playing through the boss as usual? Agent 8 Gear

Using a Save Editor, you can gjve yourself all gear in the game. Suprisingly this includes Agent 8's Gear from Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion. Doubt it's a leftover, especially since unliked the Story Mode gear shown on the main page, the gear has no English name, my theory is it's the same gear used for the Male and Female Octoling Amiibos since thwy were those attires when summoned.

I'll try getting some screenshots when possible AronTheWolfo (talk) 21:34, 6 December 2023 (UTC)

Regarding the 1.0.0 Version Differences

I've been thinking on how to handle the version differences in 1.0.0, and I've decided that most inacessible/unfinished stuff should be on the main page or different pages. Stuff like the early badges can stay on the 1.0 version differences, and I'm not sure on stuff such as Tricolor Battle and other smaller early things. Any opinions? Ashbinary (talk) 17:16, 2 April 2023 (UTC)

On the one hand, I think that if the inaccessible/unfinished stuff is not present in the game's files in v1.10+, it should be kept on the v1.0.0 page. On the other hand, I can't say that the v1.0.0 subpage looks particularly appealing to click on, despite the wealth of early content that it contains. Perhaps the v1.0.0 subpage could be turned into a prototype page for the game? According to Inkipedia, the initial release version of Splatoon 3 is actually v1.1.0. Since audiences were never meant to play v1.0.0, I think it'd probably qualify as a prototype. Teajai (talk) 17:58, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
