Removed Altar sequence

According to this old NeoGAF post... The TG-16 version of Splatterhouse had a scene with the character at an altar removed by a JMP in the code at the last minute when NEC got cold feet. I think some of the review copies on EEPROMS had it. The scene's still in the production game, just bypassed. Anyone have a clue about this? I Googled a bit but found nothing 'cause Google sucks. // Foxhack 22:55, 19 April 2013 (EDT)

SUPER LATE REPLY!: You're talking about the end of stage IV, here. The scene isn't jumped over; it still happens, there's just no altar (it's one of the "removed religious imagery in the chapel area"). Rick in all versions just stands there motionless in front of the altar, so it's not completely obvious that there's a scene missing. Hilariously though, the candles that were on the altar weren't removed, so they're just floating there. They almost blend into the background so it's not super obvious, but it's still pretty funny. --Yoshi348 (talk) 17:34, 12 October 2014 (EDT)

Unused Music?

So on the old West Mansion Forums, I found that someone noticed unused music in the Arcade release. No idea if it's in the TurboGrafx-16 version, but is it at least enough for an article on the Arcade version? LinkTheLefty 17:54, 21 June 2013 (EDT)
