About the unused song in /snd/test

This song is in the Dolphin SDK (which was used by developers to make GameCube games), in C:/DolphinSDK1.0/dvddata/audio/tracks/dtk_gs.adp. The leaked version of the SDK I found only seems to have the beginning of this song though, so dunno if SEGA/AV extended it, or if I didn't get the full SDK (in the latter case it's a different file most likely).

Debug Mode Randomly Enabled

I was playing Monkey Billiards with a friend when suddenly debug text popped onto the screen. I was not using the Action Replay code. Not sure how useful this is but I thought it might be worth sharing. Not sure what would have caused it to suddenly become enabled. Might have something to do with the fact I'm loading a backup I made on a backup loader. Once finishing the game and exiting back to the menu the mode seems to have been disabled once again. --GANONdork123 (talk) 01:13, 1 December 2018 (EST)

Were you playing the game using Nintendont because I've had the same debug text show up a couple of times in Monkey Billiards despite not having any AR codes enabled. Ferrox (talk) 15:51, 3 December 2018 (EST)

Further on the test song's frequency.

So, I recently changed the file of the unused song out for one with the correct 48000hz playback, as the previous one had been at 44100hz, and had been too slow. I had just raw read the files into audacity and determined which one was correct before actually looking at the debug menu and how it played the song, and it turns out, it actually plays the song at 44100hz, which is the wrong frequency! i verified this by checking some of the absolute frequencies of the guitar notes; when the song is played at 48000hz, they line up perfectly with the standard of tuning a=440hz. At 44100hz, they don't, and they are quite clearly out of tune with the correct tuning. To further complicate things, I downloaded the SDK and the song is at 48000hz, but is played back wayyy slower! I'm really not sure what's going on with this thing. link to how the song excerpt is on the SDK

Yet another potentially unused difficulty graphic

This very small graphic covers all the 4 difficulties in 16x16 squares. I'm sure i didn't see this anywhere while testing Dolphin's texture dumping. From what i can remember though, it got dumped the instant i entered in the main menu SMB-Difficulties-mini.png
